Sanders, Holloway & Ryan has been providing auditing, internal audit and consulting services to credit unions for over thirty-five years. We currently provide these services to fourteen credit unions. We are committed to having professionals with credit union industry expertise and have allocated resources accordingly. Our staff members complete the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants "Audit of Credit Unions" continuing professional education course. Also we subscribe to the "NCUA Letter to Credit Unions" as well as other state and federal publications. This facilitates our understanding of the industry and enables us to help our clients stay current on regulatory matters as well.
In addition, we are committed to knowing current industry trends that are important to management, supervisory/audit committees and board members. We regularly attend the Tallahassee Credit Union chapter meetings. Our staff members have given numerous presentations relative to accounting, auditing and compliance issues affecting the credit union industry.
We have an excellent relationship with federal and state examiners. We have helped our clients work through regulatory sanctions. Regulators have recognized our industry expertise and they have recommended us. We routinely make our work papers available for review by examiners.
The credit union industry is important to us, and we annually support the local Tallahassee Chapter by sponsoring lunch at the golf tournament which raises funds for CUPAC every year.
